The Office of the Harrison County Commission is accepting applications for a full-time benefited position of Deputy Director Grants & Special Projects.  The current budgeted salary for the Deputy Director is $50,395 per year.    

Individual will be responsible to assist in the research and writing of various grants for the county. Grant management and follow-up reporting will be required.  Assist in the supervision of any departmental staff and other duties as assigned.   

The successful applicant should possess excellent writing and research skills; computer knowledge and skills; ability to understand technical journals, drawings and/or documents; and function as a member of a management team.  Applicant should have an appropriate four year degree in a job related field of study and/or combination of education and experience that would allow for the successful completion of the job functions.  Successful applicant will be subject to a background investigation.
