History
The County Commissioners' Association of West Virginia (CCAWV) was formed in the late 1950's. It began as an association of Commissioners from across the state with officers, a board of directors, and numerous committees. In 1990, the CCAWV hired its first full-time Legislative Coordinator/Director, to organize, administrate, and attend to the needs of the County Commissioners' Association. We are located at 2007 Quarrier Street, just a short walk to the Capitol.
